ABOUT Me
I love to explore our connection to nature, the feelings evoked by being in the wild, the restorative power of a walk in the forest, and the memories that bring joy with each visit to our ‘happy place’. For me that is the beauty and untamed ’wild’ of Georgian Bay and escarpment country. I find endless peace and inspiration exploring the forests, mountains and waters of this magnificent landscape. With each brush stroke I seek to capture the beauty of ‘place’ and the awe and wonder of the natural world. I hope to bring that same joy and wonder to each viewer”
My work is sold through the Gallery at Creemore Flower Company, the new Summer & Grace Gallery in Downtown Oakville, the Blue Mountain Foundation of the Arts Gift Shoppe, the Loft Gallery square foot sale, as well as my home studio in Collingwood. You can also find me & my work at area events such as Collingwood ArtCrawl, the Creemore Festival of the Arts, and summer Art Markets.

My art journey began in folk art and photography as a hobbyist for many decades. A move to Collingwood in 2017 offered the time, space and inspiration for a more serious focus on landscape painting, expanding my artistic ‘toolkit’ through classes taken locally through The Bay School of Art, the Blue Mountain School of Landscape Painting, the Haliburton School of Art, as a member of the Barrie Art Club as well as online classes. Great Canadian artists including Sue Miller, Brian Buckrell, Mike Svob, Emilia Perri, Peter John Reid, John David Anderson, and Gordon Harrison have all influenced my work.
I am currently a member of the Blue Mountain Foundation of the Arts, and serve as a director for the Blue Mountain School of Landscape Painting.
