100 days of painting the wild 2022

This project running 100 days from early February until mid May was a continued exploration of our connection to nature, focusing on capturing the feelings associated with being in the ‘wild’ or that our ‘wild’ spaces evoke. 60 paintings were completed within the project.

A few new colours appeared on the palette, most notably a variety of pinks, as once again I added more of our ‘happy places’ to the collection.

The ‘Forest Song’ ink and collage mini collection came out of this work and the appearance of collage into the 2022 ‘Nesting Season’ mini collection.
